Session Description:
This session empowers Early Childhood Educators and Professionals with practical, evidence-based strategies to support children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the early childhood classrooms. Participants will explore universal inclusive practices, including the use of visual supports, language and communication strategies, and positive behavior supports to promote independence, participation and meaning social relationships. Through real-life case studies, educators will gain insights into embedding these strategies in daily routines and activities. The session also highlights the role of collaborative teaming in enhancing professional capability and fostering early childhood inclusion.
