Inclusion is a realistic idea where it requires the collective effort from us to better understand the idea of inclusion while taking the first step towards creating an inclusive society.

Let’s all be kind to everyone we meet and include everyone regardless of their backgrounds and abilities.

Through this project, I have firmed up my own understanding of inclusion in society and how as an individual I can create a ripple effect to make Singapore a better place.

By treating everyone around us with kindness and respect, we can achieve a better, more inclusive society for all.

I first started this journey thinking the objective was to make the audience aware of people with special needs and encourage them to give them ‘special treatment’ because of how different they are to ‘normal’ kids— I was far from the truth.

Janet, a mother of a child with autism, shares how parents can develop passion and patience, and build supportive relationships to foster a more inclusive society.
